The 2025 solstice gathering was on Friday, June 20, 2025.The weather was excellent and we had a wonderful time with new and long-term friends. Info on the 2026 solstice gathering can be found here

Weather station upgrades are planned for the upcoming weeks. New data will include more water temperature at various depths as well as oxygen monitoring. This chain of lakes loses oxygen in the lower waters earlier in the season than expected, so this will help us understand why this happens.
Our Mission
Our mission is forest, wildlife & fish habitat preservation. We have a certified forest management plan in order to bring back the pines to the shores of Wabana and old-growth hardwoods in the uplands. We work actively on preserving and enhancing fish habitat and spawning areas along nearly a mile of shoreline. Our forest and water stewardship work together to help keep Wabana’s waters clear and healthy for all.
