Please come to the 8th annual Wabana Chain Summer Solstice Party (started by Bill Downing) on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 5 pm+. We will be holding the party IN PERSON, OUTSIDE this year if the weather isn’t rainy. Please call 218-328-7400 if you are unsure about the weather, or check whether the party is a “go”.
If you’re coming by water, look for the Tiki lights and action on shore. Anchor, dock, or beach on the sand.
Like last year, we will have locally sourced beef hot dogs on the grill for all but please bring an appropriate beverage and some solstice party snacks to share. Come by land or by water!

If you are coming by land, put 38067 Forest Lane, GR MN into your map-ap and follow it to the solstice signs. Or follow Google Maps Here. Park at the top of the hill if there is no more parking near the house.
We will be sitting on the dock with an appropriate beverage (as Bill would have suggested) at 5 pm waiting to welcome old friends and new!

I’m sad to say I will not be able to make it this year. I will be with my kids, their spouses and my grandchildren in Kauai that week. I hope you have a great turnout. Say hi to everyone from me, and enjoy!
